Instructions for obtaining items from the University of Minnesota Libraries

UFind items that have the UM Logo were contributed by the University of Minnesota Forestry Library. These items are available to be borrowed and in most cases copies can be purchased from the University of Minnesota.

There are two ways to obtain copies of articles or other documents you discover in UFind that are owned by the University of Minnesota Libraries

Borrow:

Request the item using the interlibrary loan service of your local public or academic library. Contact your library for more information about its interlibrary loan services. They will initiate the request to borrow the item on your behalf.

Purchase:

To obtain a photocopy or electronic delivery of a scanned journal article or part of a government document or book, contact the University of Minnesota’s document delivery service
